Nothing but respect for the best gallery in the Science Museum, The Secret Life of The Home. Hidden in the basement, it’s stood the test of time.

Have you visited Seaford Museum yet? 🙂
Nope! Don’t really know anything about it…
It’s set in the basement of a 19th century Martello Tower which used to have a roller skating rink, and is now crowned by a naval cannon. There’s the usual local and naval history with figureheads and model railway, but otherwise it’s a collection of households through time, from cameras to TVs and radios, and washing machines to vacuum cleaners. I can’t remember which celebrity named it their second favourite museum in the country, but it’s fun to visit and pick through if you’re ever down this way, and it’s open…
It’s on my list now!
