I went out with a few friends to go and see Signs last night. We got to the cinema a little late and had to get tickets for a later showing, so we went over to the nearby bowling alley and had a few drinks. One thing led to another and eventually I found myself playing Dance Dance Revolution again. However, all was not well.

While I was in the middle of my first song, which I was playing doubles (using both pads at the same time), some alcohol-intoxicated women got on one of the pads and informed me that the game hadn’t started yet and something was wrong. I politely but firmly replied that it had indeed started, nothing was wrong, and could she please remove herself from my immediate proximity, post-haste.

I don’t like people interrupting me when I’m playing DDR – frankly it’s bad form. Alas, this is a problem that faces far too many DDR devotees in these troubled times, as I’ve said before…
