Matt Haughey

Matt Haughey is the creator, owner, and administrator of MetaFilter. On MetaFilter, his nickname is mathowie, which is the way his name is pronounced.

Matt has a weblog called A Wholelotta Nothing. Matt is best known, beyond creating MetaFilter, for having been an engineer at Pyra, the company that produces Blogger. He now works in Portland for the Creative Commons project.
