What Sites Would You Like To See on the "Also On" MeFi Feature?
The "Also On" feature is a way to share your activity on other social sites ("Hey everyone, I'm also mathowie at Flickr and here's a link to my profile!). The social app icons on your MeFi user page link to your public user account page on other systems. Here are some quick rules for submitting a Social App for consideration:
- The service must be a social network where other MetaFilter members can join and connect with you.
- The service must have a page that is a close approximation of "you" in the system. A profile page or a stream of your output is required.
- Please include a working link to a profile/output page when you add a suggestion.
- The service and linked page must be human-readable (no RSS) and available to the public without a login.

- Get Glue -- A site where users can share what they are watching, reading, listening to, or thinking about. You can add friends and see what they are checking into as well. Working profile page
- Userscripts -- Repository for greasemonkey type website modifications. You can join groups now, which I guess makes it social. Profile page Metafilter group
- Doodle or Die -- Users play social game of telephone via drawings and descriptions in chains, plus have profiles that can link to their website and Twitter and Facebook accounts. Working profile page

Needs Clarification
- HowAboutWe -- Dating site focused on suggesting specific dates. http://howaboutwe.com/users/####
- Please add a link to a working profile page at HowAboutWe. (I can't find any obvious examples at the home page.)
- SmugMug -- http://smarx.smugmug.com/hack/feed.mg?Type=nicknameRecentPhotos&Data=smarx&format=rss200
- The example here is an RSS feed. Do they have standard profile pages? If so, please add to current suggestions above.

Past Suggestions
- Diaspora -- Open source, privacy-aware social network, hermitosis's profile page
- No consistant domain for URLs. It's a distributed system and there's no central URL structure for profile pages. See the MetaTalk thread for details.

- Stack Exchange
- We already have Stack Overflow and these are distinct from Stack Exchange. If Stack Overflow makes these Exchanges profile The One True Profile to rule them all we'll add it. It's unclear how they're used right now.
- Kaboodle
- Doesn't seem heavily used right now. Not sure there's enough crossover with MetaFilter.

- Bloglines isn't the sort of service people contribute content to, so there isn't much of a profile here.

- 75% of MeFi members browse from the US. Adding all of Wikipedia's country options will clutter without finding many connections.

- There's no profile here that I can find. Please re-add above with a working profile URL if they have profile pages.

- Unfortunately, Ravelry requires a login to view a profile page.
