MiHail

MiHail, who joined MetaFilter in December 2004, gained lasting fame for [a November 2005 thread on Portabello mushrooms] which became a humorous roast, in which she eventually joined in good cheer.

MiHail was reported by her close friend Jade to have died in February 2006 while waiting for a liver transplant. Her last post to the blue was on [donor cards].

Her name was derived from the first syllables of the names of her cats.
