Matt Haughey is the creator, owner, and administrator of MetaFilter. On MetaFilter, his nickname is [mathowie], which is the way his name is pronounced.

Matt has a weblog called [A Wholelotta Nothing]. Matt is best known, beyond creating MetaFilter, for having been an engineer at Pyra, the company that produces Blogger. He now works in Portland for the Creative Commons project.
